Religious bias
Of the 1,628 victims of an anti-religious hate crime:
4.3 percent were victims of an anti-Catholic bias.
Sexual-orientation bias
Of the 1,512 victims targeted due to a sexual-orientation bias: 1.8 percent were victims of an anti-heterosexual bias.
I've been in police work on the streets and as a teacher of self defense for the past 15 years. I've been exposed to many "Bias Crime" cases. I'm also a white person of Catholic faith. The facts are not relayed in this video. "A hate crime is a criminal offense committed against a person or property motivated, by the offender's bias against a racial group, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual preference, or disability. Thus, college student Annie Grossman, a Republican from Alaska who supported Palin by wearing a button when she was physically attacked - IS entitled to the same rights and protection under this Bias Crime law. If you fight to have the law repealed for one class distinction, it will then be removed for all. Think, study and know the facts before you act!

In my estimation the coming crisis in America, due in part to the misunderstanding about homosexuality, will so overshadow the gay message as to cause most Americans to daily beg God for relief from their sufferings. Read the book Lamentations (in the Bible) and consider the many many wars in other places and times; you will see that America is fat, greedy and full of pride. These are the underlying sins that sexual immorality ride on.
There is so much baloney in this video. I recommend to all the bible readers to read as their truth the gospels, forget about the rest. If Jesus is THE MAN, then read him, who cares about the others. It's only their opinion, just like this is only mine.
I did a word search on the new testement and found no comments on the subject by Jesus. Maybe I need a new bible. I've read the gospels more than once and found the same, nothing on homosexuality as stated by Jesus.

In any event it is just another example of man putting faith in himself rather than God. I've read the book, seen the ending, and depending on which side your are on it isn't pretty.

So does this mean that women shouldn't have rights and should be at home SERVING their husbands with SLAVES from "foreign" lands helping them do the work and making sure that they stone their children to death if they utter a remark against them. I doubt that anyone person could kill their child for telling them to shut up. Also does it make it ok if another nation came and bombed every city in America under the Umbrella of religion. I doubt it, Sept. 11 didnt seem to go down very well with any of us.
I could go on for HOURS LITERALLY but here is my point and I hope if you do nothing more than read this understand, I am a Christian and I love ALL people, I accept flaws because unlike Christ we arent perfect. Know this to be true ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE. So make your bed if you fell you must but dont be suprised if it is hotter than what you thought.
should be a warning to you and don't blame it on the church or God. As for the lies that God has no problem with homosexuality I suggest you read Romans 1:18-25 or what happened to Sodom and Gomorah. Turn from your lifestyle and turn to Jesus. It's not too late.
Is the american evangelical christian community in such awful shape that it has to find a scapegoat (gays) in order to vent it's rage??
Christians have every much a right to free speech and freedom of expression as all other human beings. The very presence of this video, which I consider to be a horrible shame and a terrible disgrace for all God-loving christians, is proof of this point.
And you know, Hitler used very similar techiniques: portraying the majority as a persecuted minority and then declaring war by all means in order to rid the "scourge". The path that the makers of this film are taking is not one whit different.
Fortunately, I know enough wonderful christians in order to know that they will also puke when they see this film.
This paranoia has now gone too far. Preachers who are making oodles of greenbacks off of poor christians by feeding them this nonsense are the real problem here.
But feel free to express your view. No one is trying to silence you, even if you are going out of your way to convince the public that christians, which comprise the overwhelming majority of this country, are somehow being silenced.

Also, Christians don't want homosexuals to go to jail, but we want the right to express our view (religious freedom). However, homosexuals are pleased to see the Christian view silenced and for Christians to go to jail or even fired from their jobs. So where is the homosexuals respect for religious freedom?

it is unfortunate that many of "your kind" prefer to "do it" in full public and pollute innocent children.
heavelyna, people die every day all over the world because people dogmatically follow the word of their 'bible' and annihilating those they belive are "wrong". Wisdom, compassion, and understanding are much more powerful tools than blindly following some "higher authority" you believe to be infallible. apparently, christians "shalt not kill" but that seems to be a bit of a "sometimes" rule for some "christians" in this country too.
All in all a good piece of journalism -- although I think the over-arching concern should be freedom of speech/thought for all! If government begins "Silencing the Christians" as you say, where will they stop -- everyone should be concerned. This is not simply a homosexuals against Christians/ Christians against homosexuals issue as many think. It is more about basic freedoms of thought and speech, which, I would agree don't seem to be treated with equanimity in this country as well as in others.

Freedom of religion doesn't mean that any particular religion can do anything it wants; it means that every viewpoint is allowed expression - including those which your religion may not like.
