Maj.- Gen. (res.) Giora Eiland, Israel's chief negotiator during the United Nations- Israel negotiations concerning Israel\'s withdrawal from Lebanon in 1999, discusses the problem over ownership of the Shebaa Farms. Eiland emphasizes that the border between Israel, Lebanon and Syria is based on the UN accepted disengagement lines following the 1973 war which clearly defines the Shebaa Farms as an area belonging to Syria.
