The New Homeless in San Francisco- how the economy affects our neck of the woods
Nancy Pelosi is the Madam Speaker of the House. She is also representative of the 8th Congressional District of California, aka. San Francisco. And the main critic of the Republican Party during the bailout. She wants these earmarks with the bailout (because people are just cashcows to her) and she has over looked a few mortgage problems in her own backyard. Tell her to look in her own backyard if she wants to speak anymore about the bailout. Here is the article: http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article... San Francisco is famous for their homeless population. Actually, many homeless somehow go to San Francisco. They're often mentally ill or on drugs and they literally take over the city. However, there's a new breed of homeless. The victims of this economy. Many do have jobs. And families. When the families foreclosed on their properties, and when landlords evicted their tenants (which is ILLEGAL!!!) when they foreclosed on their rental properties, without giving as much as a security deposit back. http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article...Many people just needed a place to live. Foreclosures were up 500%!!! There are not many places to live in San Francisco to begin with. When families foreclose on their homes, they need a place to live and often rent small apartments around town. As do former tenants. So the cost of rents went up. The other group of people suffering from our economic misfortunes are those who are not employed. There are many people who are now scrambling for temp work. I've seen people carrying boxes out of their offices in my building because their companies are closing shop in SF, due to the economy. ALL of those WHITE COLLAR, COLLEGE EDUCATED, COMPETATIVE (deserving or not) people lost their jobs. This is also happening to us on the West Coast. Pelosi and all of the other scummy politicians are conveniently overlooking this, caring way too much about what their real estate value is worth. Seriously, why bail out the lenders when the economy obviously can't afford the cost of real estate? Just a sign of the times folks... Happy Holidays.

Not blocked from Youtube, but this is funny. Yoko Ono approved a voice over for a charity ad for this organization OLPCFoundation. It's not perfect, okay the voice over sounds like a leprechan, but the good intentions are there. So these free lovin' peace promoting "save the world" type Beatle's fans are up in arms because it wasn't John Lennon. Here is the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4b4GkG...Celebrities, even dead ones have been imitated for purposes ranging from profit, humor and even charity. It's not blasphemy. Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Britney Spears, Hitler and even Jesus have been imitated before. This just goes along with being famous. I like the Beatles, but the late John Lennon IS NOT A DEITY! He marketed, I mean "preached" world peace and love, but you ignore major world events (as boomers the largest demographic with huge political power that CAN make a difference) and instead, in large numbers you make a big stink over a copyright. It's a CHARITY for crying out loud!!! No wonder what is wrong with this country.

Team Israel vs. Team Palistine...one state vs. holy grounds
There seems to be a sentiment amongst the Arab-Islamic people about a onestate union in the Middle East, to justify their fighting. A minute into the vid, Al Gaddafi has a lot to say about the matter. He said the following during the Obama campaign; "If I win, I will implement the one state solution. The 'Isratine' which appears in Qadhafi's White Book. This idea constitutes the final, deep-rooted and historic solution. It is impossible to establish two midget-states in this area. What kind of country is 15 KM deep? This so-called Israel is only 15 KM deep. What kind of country is this?" I don't know if there are any more reason for the massive bloodshed in the area, but there almost seems to be a quest for religious dominance in the area. Correct me if I'm wrong. For anyone who says this is just about land, well it is. But no government establishment of any kind would just take over grounds which are considered holy by any group. Just out of common decency and respect. I'm not sure exactly what the Palistinian claim to the land is. All that seems to be confirmed in their intention is this one-state goal.
