What system requirements are needed to watch videos on NMA TV?

In order to watch videos on our site, make sure that you have access to the following system requirements:

How do I join NMA TV?

To become a member of NMA TV, go to the "Signup" page, choose a username and password and enter your information.

Then click the "Sign Up" button and that's all. How do I confirm my email address?

Confirming your email address is required to perform many actions on NMA TV, like uploading videos and posting comments.

Please follow the steps below to confirm your email:

Once you've created your username in our "Sign Up" page, we'll send a confirmation email to the address you entered.

Click the "Confirm your email address" link within that email. You can also copy and paste the link provided into your browser if you prefer.

You'll be directed to a confirmation page and you can immediately begin exploring the site!

If you don't receive the confirmation email within a few minutes, be sure to check your spam folder to make sure it wasn't misfiled.

I have forgotten my username or password. What should I do now?

If you have forgotten your password and/or username, you can retrieve it here: http://www.nmatv.com/recoverpass.php

I never received my confirmation email. What should I do?

If you have just joined NMA TV and you don't receive confirmation email when you expect to, check in your email client's spam folder ... some are more aggressive than others about identifying spam.

If you still haven't received it after several hours, login into your account and click the "Upload" button from top menu.

If you see your email in the text box, click the "SEND EMAIL" button. This will send another confirmation email to your address.

UPLOADING VIDEOS or PODCASTS TO NMA TV

How do I upload a video?

NMA TV does not currently limit the size of videos or podcasts to upload, so just make sure that your video or podcast is in an acceptable format and then follow the steps below:

Click "Upload" from the top menu of NMA TV page. Enter information about your video, including Title, Description, Tags, Website and Category. Check the channel on which your video should appear Select "Upload Video" Click the "Browse" button to browse for the video file. Select the file you want to upload. Determine if you want your video set to Public or Private. Click the "Upload" button.

How do I upload a podcast?

Click "Upload" from the top menu of NMA TV page. Enter information about your podcast, including Title, Description, Tags, Website and Category. Check the channel on which your podcast should appear Select "Upload Audio" Click the first "Browse" button to browse for the audio file. Select the file you want to upload. Click the second "Browse" button to browse for the image file you want to appear in the player (.png, .jpg). Select the file you want to upload. Determine if you want your podcast set to Public or Private. Click the "Upload" button.

It can take from a couple to several minutes for your video/audio to upload to NMA TV.

What video/audio file formats can I upload?

NMA TV accepts a wide range of video & audio file formats such as .WMV, .AVI, .MOV, .MPG, .FLV transferred from most digital cameras, camcorders and mobile phones... And for you podcasters out there we even support MP3 and .WAV uploads! along with an image you can load to accompany your podcast that will appear in the player!

How long does it take to process a video after it's been uploaded?

Processing time varies greatly depending on the format of your original video, file size and upload traffic. This could take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours.

We accept most video file formats, including .flv, .wmv, .mov, .mpg or .avi.

We recommend the MPEG4 format at 640x480 resolution with MP3 audio.

How long does it take for my video to appear on NMA TV website?

Each uploaded video require NMA TV review and acceptance before making it available. You will have to wait for the Editor to approve your video, before watching it online. Usuallly it should not take more than 8 hours to be approved.

What can I change to my video after it's been uploaded and approved?

You cannot change uploaded video to any other video, however you can disable it from showing on NMA TV and edit or add more information about your video.

Login into your account and click on "My videos" link below top menu buttons. Browse your videos and click on "Remove" button to disable video or click on "Edit video" link to edit it.
